Human Resources (HR) Trainer
Becker Digital is currently hiring a Human Resources (HR) Trainer (1099) to support HR training for public sector audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience working with federal government agencies and possess subject matter expertise in HR-related topics. Additionally, they will be a dynamic speaker and course facilitator.
Position responsibilities include:
Leading engaging, informative, and interactive virtual HR training sessions for groups of 20-30 participants.
Presenting on multiple HR topics related to federal HR practices and processing.
Support participant learning through thought-provoking discussion, skilled answering of participant questions, and case analysis specific to federal HR policies and regulations.
Assessing the effectiveness of HR training programs through feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement initiatives.
Contributing to the development of new HR training modules, ensuring alignment with emerging trends, and addressing the evolving landscape of federal HR practices.
Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct in all interactions with clients and team members.
Compensation:
Negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.
Location:
All work can be performed remotely but must be conducted from a U.S. location.
Requirements:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated human resources (HR) expertise.
Proficiency in delivering HR training courses.
Excellent communication skills.
Must be located in the United States to satisfy the location requirements of this contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
A graduate-level degree in human resources, management, or a related field.
Experience presenting virtually to groups of people.
Demonstrated commitment to supporting the military/veteran community
Professional experience with one or more of the following topics: OPM’s GPPA Navigation and Regulations, Processing Personnel Actions, Recruiting and Placement for Title 5 Positions, SF-50s/SF52s, WGI/WRI, Probationary Periods, SCD Leave Calculations, Veterans Preference.
