Crisis Intervention Trainer
Crisis Intervention Trainer (1099/Part-time/On-site/Travel Required - Multiple U.S. Locations)
Becker Digital - a veteran-owned small business - is recruiting Crisis Intervention Trainers (1099/Part-time) to lead on-site, interactive, multi-day training to law enforcement audiences.
Responsibilities include:
Travel to multiple locations to support multi-day in-person training engagements.
Present Memphis Model-based Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) training to groups of 20-30 law enforcement participants.
Qualifications:
Experience in Law Enforcement, Mental Health, Social Work, Psychology, Military/Veterans, or related field
Professional experience leading interactive, scenario-based, in-person training engagements
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences or a related field
Must be knowledgeable about mental health conditions (including, but not limited to PTSD, TBI, SUDs, etc.) impacting the modern veteran community
Skilled in crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and law enforcement training
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and basic technology skills related to loading and playing a video.
Compensation:
Negotiable rates based on experience and qualifications.
Location:
All trainings are in-person and on-site. Travel is required. Multiple locations across the US are scheduled for these trainings.
